Terms of use
The rules for using Chaseable. The most important one: always check a licence with the council before you apply.

About these terms
Chaseable is run by TidyStack (“we”). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you open an account for a business, you confirm you're allowed to agree to them for that business. You must be 18 or over to open an account.
What Chaseable does
Chaseable is free. Type a site postcode and it shows which council to apply to for a scaffold licence, the fee, the notice period and the date to apply by. With an account you can save jobs and get email or text reminders before they're due.
We never take payment on the site, so there's nothing to pay us and nothing to refund. Licence fees are paid to the council, on the council's terms.
Always check with the council
Fees, notice periods and other details are taken from each council's own published pages. Councils change them without notice, and we can read a page wrongly. What Chaseable shows is a guide, not advice. The council's own charges and decisions are what count.
Before you apply or put up a scaffold, check the details with the council. You're responsible for getting the right licence and applying in time.
Reminders
Reminders are there to help, but they can arrive late or not at all: a phone can be off, an email can be filtered as spam, and the services that send them can fail. Don't rely on them as your only record of a deadline.
Your account
- Give us details that are true, and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what's done when you're signed in.
- If you think someone else has used your account, change your password on the Account page and tell us.
- Anyone you invite to your company's account can see and change its saved jobs. Only invite people you trust with them. The account's owner can remove people at any time.
Using the site fairly
Do not:
- copy the council information in bulk, or use automated tools to collect it
- try to break the site, overload it or get around its limits
- send us false information about councils
- use the site to break the law or to harm anyone
We can suspend or close an account that does any of these.
Adverts and sponsors
Chaseable is paid for by adverts and sponsors, and they're always labelled. An advert isn't a recommendation from us. Anything you agree with an advertiser is between you and them.
Who owns what
The site, its design and the way it brings council information together belong to TidyStack. Quotes from council pages belong to the councils they come from.
Our responsibility to you
We work hard to keep Chaseable accurate and running, but because it's free and the information comes from councils, we can't promise it will always be available, complete or correct.
As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses that come from relying on Chaseable, such as fines, delays, lost work or lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't let us limit.
Ending things
You can stop using Chaseable at any time, and delete your account on the Account page. We can change or stop the service. If we stop it, we'll give account holders notice where we can.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we'll update the date at the top. If a change matters, we'll tell account holders by email or text before it takes effect.
The law
These terms are under the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
