What the council asks for (6)
- Scaffolding can only be put up by qualified scaffolders holding the relevant street works qualifications and £5m public liability insurance.
- All applications must be submitted, and paid for, by the nominated scaffolding contractor.
- Gantry or cantilever scaffolds need design drawings with the application.
- Read the guidance notes and terms and conditions before applying.
- If the work will take longer than 1 calendar month, you can apply for a longer duration on the first application.
- Emergency applications still go through the digital system; then contact the Streetworks team to explain.
