What the council asks for (5)
- Email the completed application form to highways@scilly.gov.uk with copies of the supervisor's and operatives' street works cards and a valid public liability insurance document.
- Public liability insurance of at least £5 million, indemnifying the Highway Authority.
- At least one accredited supervisor (New Roads and Street Works Act 1991) and one accredited operative on site whenever work is carried out.
- A site visit is needed to check the site is suitable.
- Licences are only issued to the company actually putting up the scaffold, and it must not go up before the licence start date.
