What the council asks for (11)
- Application must be completed by the contractor undertaking the work.
- Check if the road is adopted or unadopted; unadopted roads need landowner permission.
- Provide copy of public liability insurance (not less than £5 million, valid for full licence period).
- Provide a site drawing showing position of structures/obstructions in the road.
- Provide planning application number, where planning permission is required.
- Provide the dimensions of each structure.
- Provide traffic management plan details.
- Scaffolding/hoarding wrapping multiple streets requires a licence for each street.
- Multiple structures (e.g. containers) on site each require separate licences.
- Licence permit must be clearly displayed on the structure at all times.
- No works can take place until approval has been received.
