What the council asks for (5)
- Only companies that have agreed to the HSE scaffold protocol and are on the council's select list can apply.
- A site meeting with the Street Works Inspector is needed before the application is approved.
- Send the application with a drawing or plan of the layout.
- Give at least 3 days' notice of starting work; the council can set the timing of the works.
- Name who will carry out weekly scaffold inspections.
