Outer line of standards 450mm from kerb face unless otherwise agreed
Outer standards taped red and white to minimum 2.6 metres
Inner line of standards must be tight to building face
Clear minimum width of 1.5m maintained for pedestrians
Clear headroom of 2600mm above the footway
Standards must be lit at all times with bulkhead lights (red facing carriageway, white facing footway)
Materials stored on scaffolding only with council agreement
Hoardings minimum 2.5m high, smooth close boarded timber, able to withstand high winds
No door shall open onto the highway
Hoardings enclosing footway must be minimum 450mm from kerb face
Hoardings must be regularly inspected and maintained by contractor
