- Cannot issue licences for red routes; only side roads connected to red routes
- Apply to Transport for London for red route scaffolding
- Bay suspension application needed if taking up controlled parking space
- Copy of licence must be available to view on site
- Scaffolding must be legitimately sited per licence terms and conditions
- Council may mark, guard, light or remove non-compliant scaffold at licensee's cost
- Licences valid only for consecutive days
- Minimum period for a scaffold licence is 28 days
