What the council asks for (5)
- Measure the total length of scaffolding along the highway, end pole to end pole, including round corners, and pick that length on the form.
- If the scaffold extends into restricted parking bays (permit, loading, short stay, pay and display, car parks) you also need a parking bay suspension.
- Scaffold towers on wheels need a mobile scaffolding licence instead.
- TfL Red Routes (A21, A232 and others) are licensed by Transport for London.
- The council may ask for a site meeting and add special conditions.
