- The company named on the public liability insurance must apply
- Public liability insurance of at least £5 million covering the whole licence period
- A plan, diagram or drawing of where the structure will go, with length, width and height
- Pay the deposit (£40 per m²) and fees by card when applying
- Usually keep at least 1.2m of pavement for pedestrians
- Red routes need TfL permission first
